AK (Anthony Kiedis) from Red Hot Chilie Peppers should of gotten kicked out the game for yelling profanities and flipping the bird to Chris Paul and the #Rockets staff. This is unacceptable @Lakers if this was a regular joe/fan he would of got kicked out the building. #NBA pic.twitter.com/ntSAGhlNku

People operating at a high level in so many dimensions. Cerebral, physical, spiritual, emotional, unspoken and telepathic communication. I truly love basketball with my ❤️❤️❤️ this photo by my brethren @atibaphoto
After the event, Kiedis’ fellow band member Flea shared a picture of the two at the game before the incident occurred.
Posting on Instagram, Flea wrote: “At the lakers game last night with my dear brother. It [got] crazy at the end, but man I get so satisfied, deeply drinking in the depth and beauty of the game.”
He continued: “People operating at a high level in so many dimensions. Cerebral, physical, spiritual, emotional, unspoken and telepathic communication. I truly love basketball with my [heart] this photo by my brethren.”
At a recent event in LA, the Chilli Peppers covered Jimi Hendrix’ classic track ‘Purple Haze’. The California band performed at an event held in honour of Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Mo Ostin on Saturday (September 29). The 91-year-old record industry exec has previously worked with RHCP – along with The Beach Boys and Frank Sinatra.
Meanwhile, it was confirmed last month that Red Hot Chili Peppers are about to head back into the studio.
The upcoming record will be the band’s 12th and the follow-up to 2016’s ‘The Getaway’. In a three-star review, NME said the album featured “a reluctance to take too many risks” but was “progress” from its predecessor, ‘I’m With You.’
