Redman reveals new album details

Rapper teams up with Timbaland for first single

Redman has revealed details of his forthcoming album.

‘Red Gone Wild – Thee Album’ is due out on March 27 in the US.

The album’s first single, ‘Put It Down’, was produced by super-producer Timbaland, who recently masterminded hits for Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado. It will be released on February 26.

Other collaborators on the follow-up to 2001’s ‘Malpractice’ include Snoop Dogg, Biz Markie, Keith Murray of Def Squad, and Method Man of the Wu Tang ClanRedman‘s cousin.

The New Jersey rapper has also announced that he will make appearances at Austin‘s South By Southwest Festival on March 16 and 17.
