REM are to release the second single from their chart-topping new album ‘AROUND THE SUN’ next month.

‘Aftermath’, the follow-up to UK Top Five smash ‘Leaving New York’, is released on November 29.

The B-sides will be alternative versions of three songs ‘High Speed Train’, ‘So Fast So Numb’ and ‘All The Right Friends’ – recorded in the Athens Rehearsal Studio during the summer .

REM are currently on the North American leg of their world tour, where they have so far played 43 different songs in just nine shows, including the ‘Around The Sun’ outtake ‘I’m Gonna DJ’.

The tour hits the UK in 2005, calling at:
