REM have announced details of their first ever live shows in SOUTH AFRICA.
The band play there in March as part of their world tour, which kicks off in North America in October.
The South African dates are at:

As previously revealed on NME.COM, the group will come to the UK twice in 2005, in February for indoor arena dates, and then again in the summer for stadium shows.
The tour will be preceded by a small London date at the Hammersmith Apollo (February 19), the same venue the group played at last night’s Oxfam Make Trade Fair charity show where they were joined by Chris Martin.
