'In View' accompanies the band's forthcoming greatest hits CD compilation...

REM have confirmed details of the DVD which will accompany their forthcoming best of compilation.

‘In View: The Best Of R.E.M. 1988-2003’ is released on DVD and VHS formats on October 27, the same day as ‘In Time’, the collection featuring the cream of the band’s singles taken from their 15 years at Warners.

The DVD package contains 16 videos, plus a host of extra material. including live footage from the band’s show at the South Africa Freedom Day concert before Nelson Mandela in London’s Trafalgar Square in April 2001.
