REM AT THEIR BEST

REM are set to release their eagerly awaited ‘BEST OF’ album with the brand new track ‘BAD DAY’ on September 30.

The album, which chronicles their Warner Bros era from 1988’s ‘Green’ album to the present day, will feature at least two unreleased songs.

Michael Stipe, Mike Mills and Peter Buck will release the album to coincide with their 26-date US tour, which begins on September 1, according to XFM

The band will also tour Europe throughout June and July, headlining the Glastonbury Festival on June 27 and the Move Festival on July 13.

REM have been recording their follow-up to 2001’s ‘Reveal’ since September 2002 and will be unveiling new tracks throughout the tour before the album’s release in 2004.
