REM have confirmed another live date following their appearance at the ROCK IN RIO FESTIVAL in BRAZIL.

The group are confirmed to play at the Campo de Polo in Buenos Aires on January 17 next year, which will follow their performance at Rock In Rio on January 13. The venue has a capacity of approximately 40,000, and average ticket prices are US$30.

REM will join Oasis, Beck, Foo Fighters, Britney Spears, Iron Maiden and Queens Of The Stone Age at Rock In Rio, which takes place between January 12-21 at the Rock City.

The band are currently in Miami, putting the final touches to their as-yet-untitled new album, which is scheduled for release in early 2001.
