R.E.M, The Flaming Lips and Madonna all feature on the soundtrack album for the Austin Powers‘ sequel ‘The Spy Who Shagged Me’ – which opens on July 30 and has already outperformed ‘Star Wars: The Phantom Menace’ in first weekend takings at the US box office.
The soundtrack is out on July 5 has an R.E.M version of Tommy James’ & The Shondelles‘ ‘Draggin’ The Line’ as well as Elvis Costello & Burt Bacharach (who actually had a cameo appearance in the first film) playing ‘I’ll Never Fall In Love Again’.
The film stars Mike Myers and Heather Graham (as CIA aghent Felicity Shagwell) along with his co-star from the first film Liz Hurley who, well, you’ll see.
