REM have titled their forthcoming album ‘REVEAL’, and it will be released in May this year.
According to a posting this morning (January 11) on the official REM website, [url=]www.remhq.com, ‘Reveal’ is in its “final stages”, produced by Pat McCarthy and engineered by Jamie Candiloro.
A final tracklising is yet to be confirmed, although one track, ‘Disappear’, looks likely.
REM have been writing and recording ‘Reveal’ for the last twelve months, and they spent time recording in both Dublin and Miami.
The band are expected to premiere material from the album at their forthcoming show at the Rock In Rio festival in Brazil later this month. NME.COM will be at the festival, and will bring you reviews and news throughout the duration.
