Richard Ashcroft is the subject of a documentary to be screened on CHANNEL 4 this month.
The program, which is part of the ‘4 Play’ series, is broadcast at midnight on June 21. The show will feature Ashcroft performing acoustic versions of his two singles ‘A Song For The Lovers’ and ‘Money To Burn’, as well as interview footage recorded with Jo Whiley.
Other artists who have been featured on the ‘4 Play’ series include Jeff Buckley, Coldplay, Muse, Kelis, Asian Dub Foundation, Cypress Hill, Belle & Sebastian and Moloko.
The Richard Ashcroft documentary will be repeated at 1.30am on September 20. As previously reported on nme.com, Richard Ashcroft has announced a series of album launch parties prior to the release of his debut solo album ‘Alone With Everybody’, on June 26 through Hut.
