But relax fans - you can submit questions for the rearranged date...
Richard Ashcroft has been forced, due to illness, to postpone his planned webcast/webchat which was due to take place on nme.com this coming Friday (August 18), but the event has already been rescheduled for early September.
Ashcroft has suffered a bout of tonsillitis, and doctors have advised him to rest his voice in order to be at his peak for his headlining slots at V2000 next weekend.
Ashcroft didn’t want to give anything other than a full-blooded performance for the webcast, but would be unable to do so with the weekend’s two shows in mind. He released the following statement:
“I’m sorry to anyone who was looking forward to Friday. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for sometime, but I wanted to do it right and, because I’ve not been so well, I didn’t want to put the gigs at the weekend at risk by pushing it the day before. I want to be right for V2000 so we can blow people away… it’ll be worth it.”
The event will now take place at 7pm on Monday September 11. Any questions already submitted will be kept and used on the new date and you can continue to post questions – click here.
