ASHCROFT STARTS AGAIN

He says that the tracks will be given to his band so they can rehearse on the road and start a new album next year...

RICHARD ASHCROFT plans to use the soundchecks on his forthcoming tour to work on songs for the follow-up to ‘HUMAN CONDITIONS’.

Richard Ashcroft releases his second solo album on October 28 via Hut.

But as previously reported on NME.COM, the singer plans to record a follow-up almost immediately, maybe releasing his third record sometime in 2003.

“Before we go out on the road for this record I’ll have ten backing tracks for the band to rehearse during soundcheck so we can go into the studio early next year and start on the next album”, he told radio station XFM.

Richard Ashcroft returns to the UK stage next month for a full tour. For tickets, [url=]click here or call the NME Ticketline on 0870 1 663 663.
