The former Verve frontman follows up his V2000 appearances with a full-scale jaunt...
Richard Ashcroft will play his first ever solo UK tour in December.
The ex-Verve singer will play at Manchester Apollo (December 3), Dublin Olympia (6), Glasgow Barrowlands (8), Birmingham Academy (11) and Brixton Academy (14).
It is possible that new dates will be added to the tour over the next few weeks.
Tickets are now on sale at #17.50, apart from the Brixton show, which costs #18.50.

Ashcroft’s band will be the same as on his festival appearances at V2000 in August, with BJ Cole on lapsteel guitar and former Verve man Peter Salisbury on drums.
Although it has yet to be confirmed, the tour dates are being tipped to mark the debut of the singer’s wife Kate Radley – ex of Spiritualized – on keyboards.
The tour marks the end of a busy autumn for Ashcroft with dates already announced in Europe, Japan and the US.
It is likely that Ashcroft will release another single from his debut solo album ‘Alone With Everybody’ to coincide with the tour. He has previously said that ‘Brave New World’ and ‘I Get My Beat’ were in the running for future singles.
