Richard Madeley thinks Liam and Noel Gallagher robbed his house

"We think they did our house"

Richard Madeley has said that he believes Liam and Noel Gallagher burgled his house before they were in Oasis.

The TV presenter and former This Morning star was discussing Liam’s Godlike Genius win at last night’s VO5 NME Awards 2018 on Good Morning Britain when he made the claims.

“Him and his brother used to live quite close to us when we used to live in Manchester,” Madeley said, “and they admitted in the early stages of their career they did a little bit of robbery, a little bit of burglary and we think they did our house.”

He added: “I spoke to them about it, and we spoke about it, it was many years ago and they’ve probably forgotten about it now and they said ‘Yeah I think we did that one yeah, I think we did that one, went in through the window yeah’.”

NME has approached press representatives for both Gallagher brothers for a comment on Madeley’s claims.

Noel once joked to Melody Maker: “We have burgled houses and nicked car stereos, and we like girls and swear and take the piss.”

Speaking at the VO5 NME Awards 2018, Liam compared his brother Noel to Donald Trump.

Chatting to the Good Morning Britain on the red carpet before the ceremony when he was asked who his biggest villain was.

“Gotta be Noel,” Liam said. “I’m being serious. You’re laughing, but he’s worse than Kim-Jun fucking Tung or whatever he’s called.”

“And he’s worse than Donald Trump. He’s the biggest liar and biggest faker in the business, so yeah, him. He’s worse than Piers Morgan as well.”
