Rick Astley shares cover of Foo Fighters’ ‘Everlong’

'I'll be playing drums not guitar - so it will sound better than that'

Rick Astley has shared a video of him covering Foo Fighters‘ classic ‘Everlong’. Check it out below.

The ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ pop veteran shared the video to promote an upcoming charity gig he’ll be playing in London.

After rocking out to the seminal single from ‘The Colour And Shape’, Astley pulls a quizzical face and says: “I’ll be playing the drums, not the guitar – so it will sound a lot better than that. Come and rock out with us, December 23, Shepherds Bush Empire. It’s all for Nordoff Robbins, a fantastic charity, come on. We’re going go to play a few Christmas songs as well. Can’t be better than that. Come on!”

Jamming a little Foo Fighters at home in preparation for Shepherds Bush Empire… I'm performing with The Luddites on Dec 23rd in support of Nordoff Robbins. Come rock with us! gigst.rs/Lud
