Rihanna, Florence And The Machine, Lana Del Rey to play BBC Radio 1 Hackney Weekend today (June 24)

Tinie Tempah, Plan B, Azealia Banks, Bombay Bicycle Club will also play the event today

Rihanna, Florence And The Machine and Lana Del Rey are all set to play the BBC Radio 1 Hackney Weekend today (June 24).

The ‘What’s My Name?’ singer, who made a guest appearance during Jay Z’s set last night (June 23), will headline the Main Stage tonight with Florence And The Machine playing just before her.
Tinie Tempah, The Voice judge Jessie J, Plan B and Professor Green, who was born and raised in Hackney, will also play sets on the Main Stage today.

Chase and Status, meanwhile, will be headlining the In New Music We Trust stage, with Magnetic Man, Lana Del Rey, Enter Shikari, Santigold and Bombay Bicycle Club among the acts playing before them.

New York rapper Nas will be headlining the 1Extra stage which will also see performances from the likes of Wretch 32, Azealia Banks, Devlin, Sway and Labrinth. David Guetta, Madeon, Pete Tong and Zane Lowe will be playing at the Dance Arena.

BBC Radio 1’s Hackney Weekend has already seen storming headline sets from Jay-Z and Jack White. Kasabian, Nicki Minaj, The Vaccines, Sean Paul and The Maccabees all played the free event yesterday (June 23).
