Features on two new Rihanna remix EPs
Rihanna has shared two new remix EPs. The first features four ‘dance remixes’ of her stand-out track ‘Kiss It Better’ and the second boasts five remixes of ‘Needed Me’.
Four Tet features on the first, lending his skills to remix ‘Kiss It Better’. Kaytranada’s reworking of the song premiered yesterday on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show. R3hab and Feenixpawl also contribute.
R3hab also features on the ‘Needed Me’ remix EP, joined by Salva, W&W, ATTLAS and Cosmic Dawn Club Mix.
Four Tet recently announced that he now has a million Soundcloud followers, sharing a new track to mark the occasion.
The streaming service initially wouldn’t let him upload the song, named ‘TrackI’veBeenPlayingOnRadio+StuffSeemsNiceThing2DropBecauseSmashingItOnInternetShouts2B.UFO+A.Naples’ – or ‘TIBPOR+SSNT2DBSIOIS2BUFO+AN’ for short – because its title was too long.
Since releasing the track the electronic musician aka Kieran Hebden has told fans on Twitter that he made its emoji-covered artwork on Snapchat. A fan then asked him if he would make a song out of Snapchat clips and he replied, ‘next album all done on snapchat’.
Rihanna also shared the first images of her new collaboration with designers Dior on May 26. The singer has designed a new range of sunglasses for the label and was photographed wearing a pair earlier that week.
You can listen to both EPs on Tidal.
