Rihanna releases Harmony Korine directed video for ‘Needed Me’

"Just because it's 4/20"

Rihanna has released a new video for album track ‘Needed Me’. Directed by cult favourite Harmony Korine, Rihanna announced the video through a series of Instagram posts.

Korine is known for his work on Spring Breakers, Kids and Gummo and has previously directed videos for The Black Keys, Sonic Youth and Cat Power.

‘Needed Me’ follows the double-video for ‘Work’ with Drake, and last month’s ‘Kiss It Better’ visuals. This latest video contains plenty of nudity and violence, so is obviously NSFW.

It was also reported today that Kendrick Lamar producer Cardo has hinted that a follow up to Rihanna’s ‘ANTI’ could be on the way.

“There’s so many records we’ve been working on that’s about to come out,” he told Complex. “I can’t say anything beyond that, but we got a record with Rihanna. That’s all I can say. I can’t say anything more, but there’s a Rihanna and Cardo record.”

Asked if it would be his track featuring Rihanna, he replied: “No, no, it’s her song. It was for ‘Anti’, but there’s another ‘Anti’. I don’t know if it’s official, but I know we have a record.”
