Farmer who forced Rihanna to cover up during video shoot bombarded with hate mail by fans

Alan Graham has been branded a 'bible bashing maniac' by Ri-Ri's fans

Alan Graham, the Northern Irish farmer who forced Rihanna to cover up during the video shoot for her new single ‘We Found Love’ after he objected to her “state of undress”, has revealed he has been bombarded with hate mail from fans.

The singer, who released the Calvin Harris collaboration last month, was filming the video for the single in a field in Bangor in Northern Ireland when Graham asked her and her crew to stop as he believed her “state of undress” was inappropriate.

Graham has now told The Sun that he has received hate mail which has labelled him, amongst other things, a “bible bashing maniac”, but that he isn’t worried by the correspondence.

He said: “I’m taking it all in my stride, it’ll soon die down. To be honest, all this fuss has kept me back a bit. I’ve got straw to harvest that I haven’t been able to finish yet.”

Graham also said that he’d been receiving mail asking if fans could buy the ears of corn that the singer touched during the video shoot, but that he wouldn’t be selling.

He added:

I don’t think I’ll be doing that, but maybe I’ll name a type of grain after her.
