Rihanna has been added to the list of artists performing at the Brit Awards.
Having released new album ‘Anti’ last week, Rihanna will appear at The O2 in London as part of the annual awards ceremony.
The Weeknd, Little Mix, Jess Glynne and James Bay will also perform on the night with a line-up with Coldplay, Justin Bieber and Adele also on the bill. The ceremony takes place at The O2 in London on February 24.
The nominations for this year’s awards were announced last month with Wolf Alice and Tame Impala among those shortlisted. Click here for a full list of nominations.
Meanwhile, organisers have confirmed that they will be staging a tribute to David Bowie at some point during the ceremony.
Last year it was announced that the 2016 Brit Award winners will be handed a trophy designed by artist Pam Hogg. Hogg follows in the footsteps of Damien Hirst and Tracey Emin in designing a Brits trophy.
Singer-songwriter Jack Garratt will pick up the Brits Critics’ Choice Award at the event.
Justin Bieber’s ‘Purpose’ world tour arrives in the UK in October 2016 while Coldplay will play a series of stadium shows in the summer. Chris Martin and his band will also play the NFL Super Bowl 2016 on February 7.
