SNEER WE GO AGAIN!

Oh, do us all a favour and grow up...

ROBBIE WILLIAMS took yet another sideswipe at pop nemesis LIAM GALLAGHER last night (November 28), by cheekily mimicking his trademark stage stance during a filming for ‘LATER… WITH JOOLS HOLLAND’.

Williams performed four songs for the last show of the current series, due to be broadcast on BBC2 this Saturday evening (December 2).

Approximately halfway through ‘Let Love Be Your Energy’, Williams sang the lyric “Why don’t you love your brother?/Are you out of your mind?”, while adopting Gallagher’s trademark stance of sneering into the microphone, with his back arched and hands clasped behind his back.

Recently, Williams appeared to offer an olive branch to Gallagher, telling NME.COM that he wished him and girlfriend Nicole Appleton well for the future.

Elsewhere, Williams recorded a version of new single ‘Supreme’, and also performed a cover of the Elvis Presley song ‘Suspicious Minds’, as well as an acoustic version of his ‘Sing When You’re Winning’ LP track ‘Better Man’, for broadcast.

Texans At The Drive-in were also on the final ‘Later…’ , and managed to make quite an impression on the gathered audience members.

During their opening track, former single ‘One-Armed Scissor’, the band demolished their set and equipment, throwing their guitars at the television cameras and kicking their microphones over. The band also tried somewhat unsuccessfully to demolish a BBC chair during a chaotic performance.

Other guests on the show are Guru with Craig David, Angie Stone and Herbie Hancock, and Van Morrison.
