Robbie Williams: ‘I want Andy Murray to model my fashion range’

Former Take That Man would also like to pull in 'James Bond' star Daniel Craig

Robbie Williams says he wants to recruit tennis star Andy Murray to model his latest fashion range.

The ex-Take That man claims the US Open winner would be ideal as the new face of his Farrell brand.

Williams told The Sun:

Andy Murray would be a fantastic Farrell man, I would love Andy to wear Farrell clothes.

The singer added: “My own first inspiration for a style icon was Sean Connery in James Bond. Nobody else came close. But if I can’t get Andy then I’d go for Daniel Craig.”

Williams also admitted that he could never sport a fashion range because of his diet. “I’d love to do a range of underwear if I could stop smoking, lose two stone and ban chocolate from my diet,” he explained. “I’ll pose in them if I can keep my feet out of the pantry. Maybe this time next year. I’m nearly 40. It’s now or never.”

The singer recently promoted his range in Glasgow before he played an intimate gig at the city’s Barrowlands venue. During the gig he showcased his new single ‘Candy’.

Biffy Clyro recently revealed that they were asked to appear on his new album but they turned him down. To read more on their exploits with the former Take That star and their own new LP pick up the new issue of NME, which is on UK newsstands now or available digitally.
