Robbie Williams has joined the line-up for the concert to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee this summer.
Williams, who announced recently that he is expecting his first child with wife Ayda Field, joked that “if this doesn’t get me a knighthood, nothing will” when it was confirmed he was joining the bill earlier today (April 30).
The event will take place on June 4 outside Buckingham Palace and will also be broadcast live across both BBC TV and radio.
The concert is being curated by Williams’ Take That bandmate Gary Barlow, who will also perform at the event himself. There are rumoured to be a few acts left to announce for the concert, with One Direction reportedly in negotiations to join the bill.
Tickets for the event have all been allocated. For more information about the concert, visit Jubileeconcert2012.co.uk/.
