Robbie Williams has beaten the likes of Liam Gallagher, Paul McCartney and Mick Jagger to be named the top male singer people would like to be marooned on a desert island with.

Music royalty service PRS For Music polled over 1,000 people in the UK for the survey, which also saw Kylie Minogue topping the female category.

The top five males people would like to take to a desert island are:

1. Robbie Williams
2. Paul McCartney
3. Mick Jagger
4. Eminem
5. Liam Gallagher

The top five females are:

1. Kylie Minogue
2. Cheryl Cole
3. Leona Lewis
4. Madonna
5. Lady Gaga

Elsewhere in the poll, Queen‘s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ was named the song most people would like to take with them to a desert island, ahead of the likes of Robbie Williams‘Angels’, Michael Jackson‘s ‘Billie Jean’ and Lady Gaga‘s ‘Poker Face’.
