That sore throat isn' t getting any better - which is bad news for his fans in Dublin...
GLASTONBURY headliner Rod Stewart has now cancelled his show in DUBLIN after a throat infection failed to improve.
The veteran rocker is scheduled to close this year’s Glastonbury festival with a headline appearance on the Pyramid Stage (June 30).
An “extremely severe sore throat” meant that last night’s gig at Dublin’s Lansdowne Road (June 20) was pushed back to today (21).
Unfortunately, his throat showed little sign of recovery, and the doctor ordered him to rest for another 24 hours. The show cannot be rescheduled because the venue is not available at the right times.
Refunds are available from the point of purchase.
