A new album of music inspired by the Game Of Thrones has been released, only days before the biggest episode so far in the show’s final season.
The ‘For The Throne’ features new and original tracks by Muse frontman Matt Bellamy (his first solo release), as well as The National, Ellie Goulding, Rosalía, Mumford & Sons, A$AP Rocky, Chloe x Halle, Jacob Banks, James Arthur, Lennon Stella, Joey Bada$$, The Weeknd, SZA, Travis Scott, Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Peep, The Lumineers and more.
It’s been released on 11 different vinyl configurations, with nine cover variants for each of the show’s house crests, one colour variant with fire and ice coloured vinyl, and one standard.

Meanwhile, creator George RR Martin recent spoke out on how he didn’t want the show to come to an end.
“I don’t think it should be the final season. But here we are,” he admitted at the New York premiere.“It seems to me we just started last week. Has it been longer than that? The time has passed by in a blur. But it’s exciting.
“I know it’s an end, but it’s not much of an end for me. I’m still deep in writing the books.
“We saw five other sequel shows in development. I think I’m going to be hanging around Westeros while everyone else has left.”
