Rough Trade Records have shared their top 100 best albums of 2016 – featuring the likes of Iggy Pop, Anderson Paak, Angel Olsen and many more.
The legendary record shop and label is among the first respected outlets to share and rank their LPs of the year, named Iggy Pop, Matt Helders and Josh Homme’s acclaimed collaboration ‘Post Pop Depression‘ as their No.1 album – hailing it as “a timeless work, one that sounds as if it’s always been there, has existed before any of the musicians were even born-yet imbued with the ramshackle energy of a garage band that threw itself together yesterday. ”
