Royal Blood say they’re ‘still scratching our heads’ over Number One album

The duo's first release became the fastest-selling rock debut for three years

Royal Blood have said that they never expected to top the Official UK Album Chart with their self-titled debut record.

The duo’s first release became the fastest-selling rock debut for three years when it reached Number One on Sunday (August 31).

In the video, which you can see above, frontman Mike Kerr says: “Being in the charts is just something that we didn’t expect. It’s hard to work out why things have commercial success and we’re still scratching our heads.”
