RUN DMC’s long awaited new album ‘CROWN ROYAL’ looks set to finally get a release in early 2001.

The album, featuring collaborations from some big names including Fred Durst, Kid Rock, Mobb Deep’s Prodigy and Nas, has been provisionally slated for February 12 in the UK and February 13 in the US. It has been kicking around the Arista vaults since late 1998, the victim of executive movements within the Arista board.

It will be their first long player since ‘Down With The Crown’ in 1993.
