Run The Jewels to play free London gig at 100 Club

The performance will be part of Converse Rubber Tracks

Run The Jewelshave announced details of an intimate London show in December.

The hip-hop duo will be taking part in Converse Rubber Tracks, a full weekend of free music events held across the capital. The free events will take place from Friday, December 4 to Sunday, December 6 at a variety of locations.

Converse have teamed up with local music partners including 100 Club, NTS, Domino Records, Rye Wax and Lex Records to curate the various events. Tickets for all the events are free and you can register for the chance to win tickets to the event via this link.

Converse Rubber Tracks will begin on December 4 with a special broadcast on NTS Radio, guests for which are yet to be announced. On Saturday, a live 9-hour broadcast will begin on the Thames with a Boiler Room Boat Party featuring LA Priest, Petite Nori and others. In the evening Run The Jewels will continue the broadcast with a tiny show at the 100 Club with support from Alxndr London.

Sunday will see a Producer Workshop take place in the day with special guests yet to be announced, and another live performance at the 100 Club, this time with R&B singer Kelela.

This show will be Run The Jewels’ first show in the capital since their sold-out show at The Forum in June. Yesterday, Killer Mike and El P uploaded their remix of Miike Snow’s new track ‘Heart is Full’ to Soundcloud.
