The mutual fans meet up in London...

Alt-country rock ‘n’ roller Ryan Adams and Starsailor‘s JAMES WALSH are set to collaborate on a future project, NME.COM can reveal.

The pair met up yesterday (December 19) in London, Walsh having recently finished a UK tour supporting Charlatans and Ryan Adams in the city on a brief PR junket.

Both are known to be fans of each other, having dedicated live tracks to the other.

Walsh revealed that Ryan Adams, renowned for his frenetic and voluminous work-rate, had wanted to go straight into the studio last night. But the Starsailor man is more meticulous in his approach and the two will now find a date in the New Year.

Ryan Adams‘ most recent collaboration saw him come together with new-wave folk singer Beth Orton to record a cover of the Rolling Stones

‘Brown Sugar’.
