THE APPLE OF ADAMS’ EYE!

The prolific-to-say-the-least star makes sweet music with Ida Kristin...

RYAN ADAMS has recorded a duet with an up-and-coming Swedish

singer, IDA KRISTIN.

The two met in Stockholm earlier this year but 26-year old Kristin admits that she didn’t know who the ex-Whiskeytown star was.

Adams agreed to record a song with Kristin, even though he was due to return to the US. The result of their meeting was the track ‘Love Is How We Stay Alive’ – a country-flavoured ballad produced by Linus Larsson.

The result of the collaboration with Adams can be found on Kristin’s debut album ‘Stumble’ which has so far only been released in Scandinavia.

According to a spokesman for Kristin’s record company V2, an exact album release date for the UK has not been set, but the record “might well (be released) eventually”.

Adams and Kristin have also continued working together – when Adams toured Sweden and Norway at the end of October he chose her as his support act.

Adams returns to the UK for a one-off show at London Astoria on November 20. This will include both a solo set and a band set featuring him with The Sweetheart Revolution.

Tickets for the London show are on sale now. To buy some, call the NME.COM ticket office on 0870 1 663 663.
