Ryan Adams: ‘Laura Marling makes me feel insignificant’

Singer-songwriter is bowled over by Brit's second album

Ryan Adams has said Laura Marling makes him feel “insignifcant” as a songwriter.

The American star made the admission after hearing the Brit’s recent second album ‘I Speak Because I Can’.

“My god that new Laura Marling album is so insanely good,” he wrote on Twitter.com/TheRyanAdams. “Made me feel rather insignificant at songwriting…now that is songwriting!”

Adams is not the only US artists to fall for Marling‘s songwriting charms.

The singer recently recorded a Neil Young cover with Jack White at his Third Man studios in Nashville.
