Ryan Adams kicks off European tour with Oasis cover

Cardinals hit the road with in Dublin show

Ryan Adams and band The Cardinals kicked of their 2008 European tour in Dublin this weekend (November 8).

Taking to the stage early – without relying on support – the group played for just over two hours at the Ambassadors Theatre.

Showcasing new album ‘Cardinology’, Adams and co. played the likes of ‘Fix It’ and ‘Cobwebs’, while they also included the likes of ‘Cold Roses’, ‘Let it Ride’ and crowd favourite ‘When The Stars Go Blue’, from 2001’s ‘Gold’, and subsequently covered by local heroes The Corrs.

Clearly still enjoying his support slots with Oasis in the US, Adams also included his version of ‘Wonderwall’ in the set.

Ryan Adams played:

‘Everybody Knows’

‘Born Into A Light’

‘Please Do Not Let Me Go’

‘Fix It’

‘Natural Ghost’
