Three of the band apologise to their fans, after being cautioned for drugs offences...

The three male members of S CLUB 7 arrested and cautioned for drugs offences in central LONDON yesterday (March 20) have apologised to fans, and spoken of their “very stupid” actions.

As previously reported on NME.COM, the three male members of the group, Bradley McIntosh, Paul Cattermole and Jon Lee, received formal cautions for possession of a class B drug after they were found with a small amount of cannabis in the Covent Garden area of the city.

This afternoon (March 21), the three issued a joint statement apologising for their actions.

They said: “We have been very stupid, we know we’ve made a mistake and we’re very sorry.”

A spokesperson for the band added: “The band are gutted by this. They rate their fans very highly and they know that they have let a lot of people down. Now they’re learning their lesson the hard way.”

Family campaigners have condemned the band’s actions. Valerie Riches, founder of Family And Youth Concern told [url=] “The broadcasting authorities have got to remember the enormous responsibility they have and the sort of message that this is sending out to children.

“I would like them to take their responsibilities far more seriously than they are doing at the moment.”
