S Club 7 member Paul Cattermole is selling his Brit Award on Ebay.
Cattermole was a member of the pop group from 1998 until 2002, a year before their original split. He began touring again with fellow bandmates Jo O’Meara and Bradley McIntosh in 2008, billed as S Club 3, and was part of the full reunion in 2014.
S Club 7 won two Brit Awards over the course of their career – in 2000 for British breakthrough act and in 2002 for Best British single.
Cattermole has listed his British breakthrough act gong on Ebay. Despite a slow start (the item was initially put up for a measly £650), bidding currently stands at £66,000 after 127 bids.
By way of comparison, Abz from 5ive sold his Brit Award for over £1 million in 2015.
Citing “bills to pay” as his reason for putting the award up for sale, Cattermole has said that he “didn’t expect” bidding to “skyrocket like this”.

In the item description, Cattermole states that the award “hasn’t been professionally polished” and that “there are smudges that won’t come out without a pro polish”.
The singer also says that he “can meet you and greet you and take photos, distance depending”.

Meanwhile, S Club 7 members Jo O’Meara, Tina Barrett and Bradley McIntosh recently reunited again as S Club 3, sparking controversy after they appeared to lip-sync on Loose Women over a backing track featuring all seven S Club members.
