Sam Smith to play Madison Square Garden as part of US arena tour

The singer will tour North America in January/February 2015

Sam Smith has announced an arena tour of North America for early 2015.

Following the release of his breakthrough debut album ‘In The Lonely Hour’, the British singer will now tour the US and Canada during January and February. These dates include a massive outing at New York’s famed Madison Square Garden, which has a capacity of 20,000.

The 16-city live stint will build up to Smith’s UK tour next March, which sees him play double-bill shows in Manchester, Wolverhampton and London. Scroll below for those dates in full.


‘In The Lonely Hour’ reached number one in the UK earlier this year, knocking Royal Blood off the top spot in the process. The album also peaked at #2 in the US Billboard chart.
