Sam Smith has added an extra London date to his 2015 UK tour.
Smith will now play seven gigs in Manchester, Wolverhampton and London early next year after adding the March 27 date at London’s O2 Academy Brixton to his schedule.
Starting the run in Manchester, Smith will play twice at the Apollo venue on March 19 and 20 before arriving in Wolverhampton for dates at the Civic Hall on March 22 and 23. The singer will then end his jaunt in London with the three London gigs.
Sam Smith will play:
Manchester Apollo (March 19, 20)
Wolverhampton Civic Hall (22, 23)
London O2 Academy Brixton (25, 26, 27)
Meanwhile, Smith recently denied reports linking him to recording the next Bond theme. The solo singer was linked to the next Bond film last month but has distanced himself from the possibility of following in Adele’s footsteps and recording a song for 007.
Speaking exclusively to NME regarding the rumour, Smith said “No, I have no idea what that was about and I know as much as you do. You probably know more than me; I didn’t even read the article.” He continued: “I think it’s something everyone would love to do, but yeah, it was all news to me. I won’t say any more on it.”
