Adam Lambert rumoured to be recording with Sam Smith in London

The pair have been spotted together in the capital

Adam Lambert and Sam Smith are rumoured to have been recording together, after they were seen together while the Queen star was in the capital for sessions on his new album.

The American Idol turned solo star and touring frontman for Queen was in London to work on new material, when he took to social media to share a video of himself with Smith – sparking rumours that the ‘Writing’s On The Wall’ singer will be appearing on Lambert’s next record:

Lambert then confirmed that he had indeed been in town to focus on new material:

NME have contacted representatives for Lambert and Smith for a response to the rumours.

Lambert recently said that he’d love to step in for Freddie Mercury and record new material with Queen – but only if the songs were ‘right‘. He also said that he’d love to front Queen to headline Glastonbury.
