S.C.U.M’s Tom Cohen and Peaches Geldof announce engagement

Although Peaches says they won’t be walking down the aisle for a couple of years

S.C.U.M‘s Tom Cohen and his girlfriend Peaches Geldof have announced that they are engaged.

According to the Daily Mirror, the pair have confirmed their plans to get hitched in the future – but admit they won’t be saying their vows for a couple of years yet.

Peaches said:

Yes, I’m engaged! We don’t want to get married for a couple of years yet though so don’t expect me in a dress yet. I’m so happy.

It had previously been reported that Peaches was planning to join Cohen in S.C.U.M, after rumours circulated that the TV presenter had been rehearsing with the London band.

However, Peaches reacted angrily to the suggestions and took to her Twitter account to quell the rumours. “Everytime I have a boyfriend in a band theres WITHOUT FAIL a story about me doing a Spinal Tap move and “demanding to be part of the show,” she wrote.

“So just to clarify,& to nip any future tabloid “peaches demands to join boyfs band” stories in the bud-I have no intention of doing so. Ever.”

S.C.U.M, who released their debut album ‘Again Into Eyes’ in September, will headline London’s Bush Hall on February 24 as part of the 2012 NME Awards Shows.
