Seasick Steve set to play SSE Arena Wembley

"We gonna have a party"

It has been announced that Seasick Steve will be performing at the SSE Arena, Wembley on October 16.

The show will be his biggest to date, with tickets going on sale April 15. The show is stated to be celebrating the tenth anniversary of his album ‘Dog House Music’.

In 2006, Seasick Steve performed on Jools Holland as part of the ‘Hootenanny’ celebrations, which quickly led to his success in the UK.

Speaking in a statement, Seasick Steve commented on the announcement: “When I realised it was going to be 10 years since I was on Jools’ show, and 10 years since you guys gave me this job I decided that we gonna have a party.

“A ’10 Years Out of The Dog House’ Party.’ Look what ya’ done!” Seasick Steve returned to Jools Holland in May of last year before playing a set at Ramblin’ Man festival.

Seasick Steve has previously sold out London’s Royal Albert Hall, Hammersmith Apollo and Brixton Academy.
