And Johnny Rotten lays into The Queen, Tony Blair and David Beckham...
Punk legends the SEX PISTOLS reunited for an anti-jubilee gig in south London yesterday (Saturday, July 27).
The remaining members of the Pistols played at Crystal Palace to an audience of old punks and new fans. The concert marked 25 years since the group caused outrage by playing a gig on a boat on the Thames. That gig, which coincided with The Queen’s silver jubilee, got them arrested, while their infamous single ‘God Save The Queen’ was banned.
Singer Johnny Rotten used the Crystal Palace show to verbally attack The Queen, prime minister Tony Blair and footballer David Beckham with expletives. A defiant Rotten said: “I’m sorry for nothing to no-one, ever.”
