John Lydon wins Best Book honour at Shockwaves NME Awards

Sex Pistol beats Carl Barat and Keith Richards to gong

John Lydon has won the Best Book honour at the Shockwaves NME Awards 2011.

The Sex Pistols frontman bagged the prize for his photo book, Mr Rotten’s Scrapbook. He attended the awards ceremony tonight (February 23) at London‘s O2 Academy Brixton.

The other nominated books were Carl Barat‘s Threepenny Memoir, Jay-Z‘s Decoded, Keith RichardsLife and Russell Brand‘s My Booky Wook 2.
