SHACK release a new single, ‘Comedy’, on May 24 on London Records, the first song taken from their fourth album, ‘HMS Fable’, which is released on June 14.
Along with Lee Mavers of The Las, Shack are one of the great lost-Northern-genius bands of the ’90s. Shack played their first major gig for four years at one of the NME Premier Shows at London WC2 Astoria (January 21).
‘HMS Fable’ was produced by Youth, who worked on The Verve‘s 1997 ‘Urban Hymns’ album, and features Primal Scream‘s Martin Duffy on keyboards.
