The band announce the first release from new LP 'Here's Tom With The Weather'...

Liverpudlian outfit SHACK have announced details of their first single in three years.

‘Byrds Turns To Stone’ is the first track to be lifted from the band’s new album, ‘Here’s Tom With The Weather’. It’s out on September 15 through North Country, and is backed with a brand new track – ‘Not Afraid Of Loving You’, plus an alternative version of album opener ‘As Long As I’ve Got You’.

The video for the single was filmed recently on a floor of a department store in Liverpool that has been closed for 25 years. The floor has remained untouched since then, complete with a Christmas Tree and trimmings and a genuine 60s hairdressing salon.

Shack will play at the V Festival at Weston Park, Staffordshire on August 16 and Hylands Park, Chelmsford on August 17.

The band will then be touring the UK and Ireland throughout September and October.

The dates are as follows:

Liverpool Carling Academy (September 18)

Leeds Cockpit (October 2)

Sheffield Leadmill (3)

Manchester University (4)

Bristol Fleece (5)

Birmingham Academy (9)

London Shepherds Bush Empire (10)

Brighton Concorde (11)

Nottingham Rescue Rooms (13)

Oxford Zodiac (14)

Edinburgh Venue (15)
