The follow-up to global smash 'Hot Shot' is released in October...

SHAGGY has titled his new album ’LUCKY DAY’ – and claims it’s one for the ladies.

According to Billboard.com, the follow-up to 2000’s global smash ’Hotshot’will be out in the UK in October 28, and a day later in the US. A single, ’Hey Sexy Lady’, is expected to precede the LP.

Shaggy said: “This is a very uplifting, pro-woman album.When I look back at the people who shaped me, that made a difference in my life, most of them were women. So why not pay homage?”

Guests include dancehall veteran Barrington Levy and Shaggy protege Ricardo ‘Rik Rok’ Ducent, who featured on Shaggy’s massive 2001 worldwide chart smash ‘It Wasn’t Me’.
