Sharon Van Etten has announced plans for a number of UK tour dates set to take place this November.
The shows will come as part of a wider world tour and see the singer-songwriter playing a trio of shows, starting at Manchester Cathedral on November 24, then playing Glasgow Art School on November 25 and Birmingham Library on November 26. The gigs follow a single UK festival date this summer, with Van Etten playing Green Man Festival on August 16.
In May Sharon Van Etten released her latest LP ‘Are We There’, the follow-up to her 2012 album ‘Tramp’. Speaking to NME previously about the album, she revealed: “I’m less censored every time I do a record. I’m like, ‘I think this is OK. I don’t think I’m freaking out. The only one I’m freaking out is me.’ This is really intense stuff to write and sing about.”
