Shockwaves NME Awards 2009: watch it on TV

The Shockwaves NME Awards took place on Wednesday (February 25) at the O2 Academy Brixton, with the action from the event set to be broadcast tonight (February 27).

The event will be broadcast tonight on Channel 4 at 11:35pm (GMT) then repeated on Monday (March 2) at 12:10am.

A backstage special will be broadcast earlier in the evening, on 4music, at 7:30pm (GMT), with a highlights special set to air tomorrow (February 28) on T4.


As well as the winning speeches the shows will feature the performances from the night including those by The Cure, Friendly Fires, Glasvegas with Florence And The Machine, Blur’s Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon and Elbow.
