Shonen Knife announce 15th studio album and summer tour – ticket details

'Free Time' will come out on July 11

Shonen Knife have announced that they will release their 15th studio album ‘Free Time’ on July 11 and will tour the UK this summer.

The Japanese trio, who are also celebrating their 30th anniversary as a band this year, released the album overseas in 2010, but have only recently secured a European release date.

The tracklisting for ‘Free Time’ is:

Shonen Knife have also announced details of a UK tour for August and September.

The trek begins at Manchester‘s Deaf Institute on August 13 and runs until September 11, when the band headline London‘s Scala for a show which will celebrate their 30 years together.

The band are also booked to appear at this year’s Summer Sundae Festival in Leicester on August 12.
