The pop star was the musical guest during a 2015 episode of SNL, while Trump took on hosting duties. Sia says she met the future-President in the hallway backstage when she was on her way to her dressing room. Trump was reportedly keen to snap a photo with her and according to Sia, that’s when the bowel battles began.
Sia told Rolling Stone that she politely declined Trump’s request for a photo. “Actually, do you mind if we don’t? I have a lot of queer and Mexican fans, and I don’t want them to think that I support your views,” she recalls telling him. “Oh, no problem,” Trump replied, according to Sia, “Then don’t.”
“It was as if he viewed me as protecting my brand,” she added. Sia said that she thanked him for understanding, but “couldn’t stop her body from physically reacting to Trump after they parted ways.”
“And then I went into my dressing room and had crazy diarrhoea,” she explained.
Meanwhile, it was reported earlier this week that Steven Tyler is taking legal action against Donald Trump after the US President used an Aerosmith song at recent rallies.
Trump used the band’s 1993 single ‘Livin’ On The Edge’ at a rally at the Charleston Civic Center in West Virginia, as his supporters entered the venue.
Tyler has now sent the President a cease-and-desist letter through his attorney, Dina LaPolt, accusing Trump of willful infringement. Aerosmith previously sent Trump a cease-and-desist letter in 2015 after he used their song ‘Dream On’ at events during his presidential campaign.
